The best headphones for Cardionics e-scope II

Hello everybody! So I am just starting out in nursing school, and just a piece of information for you guys to answer accurately, I am hearing impaired and I wear BTE hearing aids.

Thanks to my disability services, I have received a Cardionics e-scope II stethoscope! Unfortunately it is a used one, but so far it does work but I do have a problem with the headphones. I feel like they are holding me back from hearing everything I need to hear? Granted I don't know where to find breath sounds as of right now, we're just learning blood pressure for now...But I feel like I should be able to hear better? I can just barely hear the blood pressure sounds.

The headset that it came with seem to be used a lot, and the wiring is starting to get faulty. Also the earpieces do not agree well with my hearing aids and I have to adjust it a lot so I don't get any feedback. So with anyone that use headphones for this stethoscope, am I able to buy new, good quality headphones like from Sony and it will work better? Let me know your thoughts! Thank you!
