I'am taking the teas test on the 17th. i have purchased the ATI study guide and just took the online oractice assesment, does anyone know how the online assesment compares to the actual test?

The assessment was helpful because it gives you an idea on the kinds of questions and the screen set up is the same. It was good practice for math, reading and English but the science questions really do not compare.

I did alot worse on the on-line practice than I did on the real one at my college. I also thought the study guide questions were way harder than the questions on the school's test. My biggest help was re-taking it after I had finished my pre-reqs. That gave me a knowledge base to draw from.

Hey guys, I am also taking the TEAS in two weeks to go into the LVN to RN bridge. I have been studying the study guide since December and I just want to take the darn thing and get it over with. I have heard from others who have taken it that they don't ask you very much anatomy/phys/micro which we have taken but physics and life science. Not sure why, but that's what I ahve heard. I too have heard the study guide is worse than the actual test. I'm hoping that is true!!! I'm not great with math, but the study guide has helped me understand most, except for some of the word problems and geometry stuff. I just figure I'll get those wrong. My college only requires a 67% overall (California). Good luck to all and me too (ha ha). We can do it. It's tough, I am 50 and couldn't remember how to do alot of the math, etc. But I think I can do it with God's help.:yeah::nurse:

Most of the math is basic math. Brush up on your fractions and percents and decimals. There are a lot of long addition problems. I only remember one geometry problem. Know how many centimeters are in an inch, cups in a gallon and pounds in a kilogram. The reading and English is easy. The science is not really anything you can study for and I don't think the manual is any help there. Know about mass and friction but other than that you can give a good guess by really thinking about the problem. I guess that is why they call it critical thinking. I got a 91.2% overall and that is with only getting an 80% in science. Do good on the other stuff and the science does not have to be as good. Oh and there was only one anatomy problem on the test.
