Phlebotomy move to California?

I'm in IL and planning to move to CA by mid of 2010. I am interested to take Phlebotomy Class in IL and get the National License right away.

After I have the Phlebotomy National License and I want to move to CA, what should I do?

I know that CA has their own state license, but can I use my IL certificate and National License to apply for CA Phlebotomy State examination?

Or do I need to take all new Phlebotomy class in CA again?

On CDPH website states only people who have certificate from accredited institution in CA, can take the CA exam.

Please help give me some ideas, so I can decide if I should take class in IL before I move!;)

You will need to contact the state of California licensing department to find out that info. You will probably be able to get that information on line.

Hello. Im wondering what happen to your Phlebotomy career now? I am a foreign RN but not yet licensed in CA. Right now, I'm thinking to take phlebotomy course instead of challenging the NCLEX exam.
