In talking with them it sounds like they have to work their butts off just to get some time in with the physicians.

As in, unless they are stunningly gorgeous and bringing free food or taking the doc out to lunch, they're refused entry to the supply cupboard or to talk to the doc at all. I've worked with docs who were hostile about the reps a time or two.
