I wanted to look into and get everyone's opinion about Nursing at a Trade School in New Jersey. Does anyone recommend a certain program to look into. Im a high school senior applying to some colleges but Im not sure I can get in so I need to be reasonable and look at Trade Schools as well. I heard Lincoln Tech was bad and expensive and Im not really sure how well trade schools are for getting your RN license. Someone help :)

I went to a trade school in order to obtain my Practical Nursing Diploma. Make sure to do your homework, and see if the school has the following criteria

1. it is approved and acredited by the board of nursing in your state. what's the point of spending all that money if you can't use the degree or sit for the NCLEX?

2. it is within your price range (or parent's price range)

3. it is convienient to your place of residence, employment (if you need to work)

4. offers the classes you want at the times you want (evening classes if you're a night person, part time if you don't want to take a full load of classes ect)

good luck to you.
