New grad seeking job advice

Hello!

I live in Southern California and have my associate's degree in nursing. I passed the Nclex and received my RN license in December of 2015. Throughout January of 2016, I have been submitting resumes and filling out applications for some of the New Grad program openings in my area. I would love to be admitted into any New Grad program, especially one in Med/Surg. Right now, I have no source of income and I have a full-time job offer in a clinic focused in behavioral health. I am considering it, but I must commit to working one full year. Do you think I should take this job, or wait to hear back from any New Grad programs? I would greatly appreciate any advice or input you have to offer. Thank you!
