Hello

I had my first interview for a Hospital, I am schedule for a second interview a week later. I was informed that this will be a panel interview. Please give me some ideas of what to expect. Bear in mind that I am a new graduate.

Thanks

I've been on a couple, not really any different for me than a regular interview, just 2 or 3 people listening to the answers instead of 1, and the purpose seems to be to expedite the process (instead of doing second interviews). The ones I was in they each took notes and seemed to have a list of questions they took turns asking.

It depends on how laid back the unit is. I have had a very laid back interview where I was asked about my hobbies, my future plans, how I felt about team work. We spent about 30 minutes talking about the unit. I work there now.

The former facility(I worked at) was more structured and they had set questions to ask. They were the standard interview questions, and I was scored on a numeric scale. I got that job also.

My best advice: Take a deep breath, and remember that you made it to the second interview. Be honest, be friendly, and smile. Whoever interviewed you the first time saw something they liked.

Thank you for your input.

Thanks for your imput
