Anyone have any reccomendations for communication, and leadership developement seminars?

I need something that will help me develope my communication and leadership skills.

Have you thought of joining Toastmasters? Not a seminar per se, but more of an ongoing activity. It's made a big difference in my communication and leadership skills.

Thank You for the link EricEnfermo. I am not certain that it is exactly what I am looking for.

I am just wanting to improve my communication skills with the people that I work with.

I do well when I have the time to think out/plan a speech. I do very well in public speaking. I am good at putting stuff on paper and it looking great.

The disconnect is that I don't have people skills to match my technical knowledge. I have a very direct way of saying exactly what I am thinking. It doesn't show me in the best of lights and occasionally it gets me in trouble. When I was in the military it wasn't a problem, the job still got done. In civilian life in my new carreer, it could mean the difference between a patient living or dying.
