I need to make a outline on Nursing

Nurses General Nursing

Published

I need to make a 4 page outline on why it is difficult for students to become nurses. My main arguing points is Classes, Competition, Time/money consuming, memorization, dedication. I think the nursing program would go under competition as a subcategory. Anyways my thesis is "Students who pursue nursing are caught off guard by the fact that it is a high paying career and the demand for nurses is high that they are ignorant to the difficulty of their career choice. " If there's a way to summarize the "it is a high paying career and demand for nurses is high" I would appreciate a better subsitution.

Anyways, I need help on deciding main points for my outline and I doubt I can contribute anymore then those. However, they wouldn't stretch out into 4 pages and I don't know what to add for subcategories. And I need to find online articles to help me understand my material. I search ProQuest and google and yet to find anything specifically explaining the difficulty of pursuing the career.

try searching CINAHL or PubMed; they have categories that you can chose that might be able to help you find relevant articles and create subcategories for your outline

If it were me I am not sure I would put the focus at all on it is a high paying career, compared to what, name another career which has the same usual starting pay in which someones life is in their hands.

I agree with your part time constraints of schooling and balance family/need to remain employed while in school. Time constraint /need of studying. The need to memorize which transitions into critical thinking skills which is looking at the whole picture and now what do you do with that information.

just my thoughts.... I have too much time on my hands this weekend..lol
