Okay, this is a psychiatric thread . I check the psychiatric topic but It was checked like once a week(if I may be right).
Well one of my friend had an assignment and she asked me the approaches of mental health nursing. I am not good at mental health nursing (but can read minds
) anyway I want to contribute my ideas for the assgnment but Like I said I don't KNOW the answer.
Can anyone help my friend and also help me understand what is the approaches to mental health nursing. Is there 2 or 3 or 4?
Oh and administrators please don't move the thread to the psychiatric topics where it will rot........I want this thread for everyone to see and help.
Thank you all for the support.

There are some really good articles in this month's Nursing 2003 magazine. One is on depression and one is called "The Patient with the Showgirl Eyes." They illustrate issues regarding mental health in nursing. www.nursing2003.com
