a few months ago, my company sent myself and an hr manager to a training class to be certified in the collection of saliva testing. we now do all our drug testing on site for pre-employment, post accident, and resonable suspision. it is a new concept to me, as i have always done the urine collection type in the past. according to the manufacturer they claim it to be more accurate then urine tests, and pick up usage of a substance in as quick as two hours after the person takes a drug that these tests are able to pick up. it picks up the basic panal. has any one else seen or use these type of drug testing kits in your facility? if so, what are your thoughts and comments? thanks....
