Grades and SDSU

Nurses General Nursing

I'm a high school senior and I'm set on becoming a nurse and I know this seems long but I need advice and info. Anything would be helpful.

I've done a lot of extra classes through my cc which has allowed me to skip my junior year, but I got a D in one of my classes at the college and a D in honor gemery first semesterling of my freshmen year.

The history class was an online class and I was on vacation.....long story, and the second semester of geometry I got a C which is weighted as a B. The D in history will be tacked on to my sophomore grades.

My first choice school is UC Irvine and they have contacted me about applying, but I'm not confident into getting into the nursing program so my next school is SDSU.

I'm curious if I can get into SDSU with a D let alone into the nursing program. I'm going to meet with my counselor soon to choose my classes according to what's needed for college and talk about retaking the classes. I'm hoping the colleges don't consider my freshmen grades because I was told the UC and Cal state look at 10-12 grades.

My GPA went from a 3.23 weighted to a 4.2 weighted. I really buckled down this past year.

Something that's appealing about SDSU is that it's a direct entry but I'm worried I won't get in!!

Please I need some advice and information!!
