I am applying for the accelerated BSN Program. I know you need a 3.2+ to get accepted to the program, but what about the scholarship? Anyone recieved it here? Thanks.

Hi Colonialcity,

I posted a similar question the other day in the DC region of allnurses (just wanting to know if anyone has done this scholarship program). I am applying for the same thing and hope to begin Spring 2010. I attended an info session last year and heard that sometimes people from the West coast, for example, want to attend Georgetown, but don't want to stay in the area so they don't take the scholarship. This leaves more available to people who get accepted and want the scholarship. The way I understood it, is that you have a pretty good shot of getting the scholarship if you make the cut and can into the program. I have to admit, I'm more nervous about being accepted to the program than the scholarship :wink2:

Are you applying for spring 2010? If so, we should receive an email in the next week or so to apply for the scholarship.

Do you guys know anything about the GPA requirements for their traditional BSN program? What about the prerequisites they require? Every thread I have found on this website is about their Accelerated BSN program and I am having a hard time trying to figure out if I have a realistic shot at getting in as a transfer, so any help will be very appreciated :)

Hey al_e135,

I've been looking for info on Georgetown's traditional transfer BSN program. If you've come across the info, could you send it my way? Much appreciated.
