I have a book that's good...it's from the "Made Incredibly Easy" series, called simply, "Fluids and Electrolytes."
It's in easy to understand text, plus there are little quizzes, illustrations, etc to keep it more interesting.
There are a lot of other subjects in this line too...I also own the EKG, pathophsyiology, charting, and pharmacology ones.
They're published by Springhouse...I've found them at Barnes & Nobles, Borders, and academic bookstores.

Acids and bases are really cool. Remember! we breath out only 30% of the CO2 we make through our lungs. The rest is handled via carbonic acid, so this stuff is important to understand, and you will.

Could anyone tell me a good website for learning about these topics? My book is sooo wordy and I feel like it just keeps going around in circles. Any help is greatly appreciaited!!
