The college offers a workshop for the CPNE. I myself did not do the workshop many do and find it does pay off in the long run.
Many students do as I did....they set up a patient in their study area and practice the skills....there is more to the CPNE other then just the skills....there is also the papaerwork required, IE:Nursing care plan for each patient situation.

Hi,
I am trying to decide if the ADN Excelsior College program is right for me. I was an LVN in Canada but have not worked for one year now.
I am anxious to hear from people that have graduated from the program or in the program. I would like positive or negative comments, especially regarding the CPNE.
Does anyone know if there are companies that offer practice CPNE's? And if the RN State Board of Texas accepts Excelsior graduates for the NCLEX?
