It spoke of 2 hospitals with eICU's. Web cam's that are viewed by a doctor that is offsite linked to monitoring equipment, with ONE nurse physically on site. Now, I am not a nurse, or even cloe (starting nursing school in 2 weeks), but this just doesn't seem safe to me. How do they think that adding this technology will be safer for patients in ICU's when the patient/nurse ratio will be extremely high.
