Can someone please tell me what endogenous glucose production is?

ive tried googling but it's not put in simple terms

Do you know what endogenous means (hint: opposite of exogenous)? If you understand what that word means, then you should be able to figure out the meaning of the phrase.

Another hint- look up the purpose of glycogen and glucagon. Consider how long the body can go without food even though we need adequate blood sugar levels to stay alive.
