What is an example of an nursing caring inquiry framework? Is like is there any particular names or defination or something of one?

What is a nursing caring inguiry process?

Would it be something like the T.B. questionnaire we use? We first ask if the patient has had a cough lasting more than 3 week. If no...we stop...If yes we proceed to the next question R/T signs and symptoms...If the patient has 1 or more signs or symptoms (ie: night sweats, coughing up blood etc.) we proceed to the third question R/T precipitating factors (ie: recent jail time, +HIV etc) and if he/she answers yes to any of those we institute isolation percautions.
