Board of Nursing Obligations imposed - CEUs help

Hi everyone!

I got dinged by the board of nursing for a HIPPA violation (yeah no one is perfect...oops). One of my requirements for the discipline was to do CEUs for two 8 hour courses. 8 hour CUE on Ethics and the other 8 hour CEU on the Legal Aspects of Nursing. Now I've checked CE Broker like the paper from the board said and there is absolutly nothing that is for 8 hours each.

Just wondering is there any other sites I can use to fulfill my total of 16 hours of CEUs for the board in Ethics and Legal Aspects of Nursing?

When I did CEU's to renew my license (I was working very PRN) I went to a website called MyFreeCE and used them, but I checked first and made sure my states BON accepted their credits.

You'll likely have to do the same.. search for CEU's on those topic and then check with them and your states BON to see if they will accept them.

There are also sometimes seminars or conventions that will give you CEU's if you attend, but that can get really pricey.

Maybe a association for Nurse Attorney's will have CEU's available that will work.
