    Depending on what surgery has been done, I'm not even dangling anyone for a good 4-8 hours. Forget about walking them.

    I had a patient 1 day post op who was listed as "hypoactive bowel sounds" prior to my shift. (I am a nursing student). My instructor asked how many bowel sounds are considered hypoactive and hyperactive. Couldn't recall exact numbers. Can someone help with this?
