Anyone have info about working in a med spa?

I came across some ads about med spas hiring RNs (in California). It sounds like a pretty fun job and a nice change from being in an acute setting. I tried applying but didn't get any calls back and I assume it's because I have no experience in this field. Can anyone please tell me how I can get experience? Are there classes that I'm supposed to take? THANKS!!!!

Try getting ahold of whomever wrote the ad and ask what experience / training they are looking for. Follow up on it. Or if you can't get them, go to a local college nursing department and ask what information they may have on the field.
