Any xray, MRI, CT Scan techs out there?

My friend, an RN, is very unhappy with her job, wants to be an x-ray tech. She thinks that it will be much less stressful and you are not forced to be with the same patients for hours. And the pay is just as good as nursing. She doesn't want to go for bachelor degree in nursing thinking that it's not worth it. I just wonder, if there any of you radiology techs out there who could tell us more about your profession, what you like and what you don't like about it? Any MRI or CT techs out there as well ?

My hubby works in CT and MRI....it isnt' the same type of stress, but you are still dealing with patients, docs, etc. They have conscious sedations, have to inject, etc. He has to take call once a month (this can very by hospital). He must like it since he has been doing it for 25 years.
