I heard a radio program on NPR (I love NPR :) ) about "Chronobiology", which I found quite interesting and I thought many of you might like to hear about it as well.

This fall, a study looking at the link between night work and breast cancer concluded that shift workers are at a higher risk--possibly because late-night work disrupts the body's light-dark hormone cycles. In this hour, we'll talk about timing in medicine, and the connection between health, illness, and our body's rhythms.
The nursing profession was mentioned several times in the broadcast, since many nurses work nights. Hope you all enjoy the show.
You can listen to the recorded program if you have Real Player on your computer.
