A Hospital that works: for patients and nurses (and everybody else, for that matter)

Nurses General Nursing

I posted this link in another area a couple of weeks back, but thought it would be useful on a more general board, so here goes. I have no connection with this hospital (except as an admirer!) but they seem to have found a way that makes it work for both patients AND staff.

Hmmm. Wonder if anyone here works there. I could almost hear big sweeping syrupy music while I was reading it.

We have had several nurses that were students here go to Parkland after graduation. They all liked the fast pace and the learning oppurtunities but only 2 have stayed- that I know of.

I know 2 girls there that are med. technologists and they really like working in the lab. One of them had a baby there but said she really choose it because of a doctor/insurance thing and it wasn't all that special to her but she would be hard to impress.
