Has anybody only used the GED book to study for the TEAS and not the TEAS study guide? If so, let me know how you did. I just cannot get the TEAS right now and need to test in the next 2-4 weeks. My school's library had the new GED book and I wondered how well it would work. I also have a McGraw-Hill book for nursing entrance exams. Any help, ideas, advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! TIA!

I used the GED books to study for the TEAS...when I studied of course. I would recommend getting an old science book for the science part and going over cloud formations, rocks and volcanoes...both times I took the teas test, I got multiple earth science questions. There were also a few A&P questions. The math part was fairly easy for me...but I love math. I got a 76 and a 79 on the TEAS test...both were kinda low scores but high enough to get me accepted into my program.
Good luck!

i used the McGraw-Hill book and would have to agree that if I were you I would look at a science book and check out the earth sciences. Look at a chemistry book too. I think the McGraw-Hill's book was lacking in those two areas.
