GCU Spring 2015 Hopefuls

Is there any Tucson applicants for Spring semester? I already took my HESI applied for the fall and was placed on the waiting list. So here I am once again giving it another shot. Hopefully, this time around I make it...

If they decline me will I still get an email?

Mari_315, yes you will. My advisor told me you will get an email with an attached letter. The letter will tell you if you are accepted, declined, or an alternate.

My advisor actually said if a student wasn't accepted to their first choice, you have a chance to be accepted at another location! That made me feel a lot better!

I heard that you are only can get into your first choice. However, if you don't get in but get on the waitlist, that is when they start filling whatever spots open first. Thats when you will have the option to either accept the option avalible or pass.

My GPA is 3.68, no idea what my science one came out to, I'm still in lifespan development and Patho right now. I got 90% overall for Hesi!...I messed up and studied bio and not chemistry thinking that was the one that they threw out...but I did ok for messing up with that! applied for Main Campus fast track.

Last semester one of my classmates had a 3.9 and didn't get in because she was a transfer from U of A, she was 30 on the waitlist. Ended up getting a spot in the end. Also had a girl that was going to GCU with 3.3 and got in. So scores do matter but I'm sure there is so much more that is going into the decisions.

I also think this semester is much harder than others in the past. This nursing program is becoming the easier one to get into which means so many more people are coming to try to get in.

I'm so ready to know already!

Im feeling the same way!! I really wish we all would have been notified at the same time...its kinda weird how this is working out . . .some know and some dont!! Its so stressful.

Don't give up hope. Only 1 person has heard back (except for all of Tucson). We're all (im)patiently waiting. I really hope they don't wait until the end of the day to let us know but it looks like that's what will happen.
