Hey does anyone know anything about Galveston College and it's nursing programs? Success rate, professors/instructors, credentials, waiting list, where clinicals are?
I am going to visit next week for a few days and hope to see UTMB as well. I already have a Bachelors degree in Media Arts, and want to go back to school for my RN.
Also considering Houston and will look there as time permits.
I am coming from Austin, but my work schedule doesn't allow for frequent trips. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Galveston is a good place to learn nursing. Lots of patients!

Eric,
I see your heading says TAMUCC. How is TAMUCC? My friend and I were considering going there to do an Accelerated BSN or possibly Del Mar CC. I just don't know if I should bother getting a Bachelor's. I am looking coastal as you can tell (love the ocean), a little apprehensive about hurricanes though :chair: !
