I am a new grad that has been applying for many jobs. Some of these jobs require you to take an online assessment through a Gallup Poll. I am apparently not doing so well and so I am wondering - just what is the Gallup Poll looking for and is there any way for me to find out what I am doing wrong?
Sorry if this has been asked before. Any help or insight would be appreciated!!

tkaye,
I just spoke to a friend with 15 years + experience. She took this assessment and was told that the facility was looking for an ideal candidate and she did not fit.
She was told that this is a gallup poll and there is no "right or wrong answer"
Have a look at the link above and it may give you an idea of what the assessment is about.

I did that too but I answered truthfully and was called for interviews but no job yet.

They're looking to see if you fit into the category of, "awesome and perfect nurse." Close your eyes and just think for a minute — what attributes would the perfect nurse exemplify?
Team player ALL the time, willing to help and be helped ALL the time, open to constructive criticism ALL the time, natural born leader since birth, takes direction well, outgoing and friendly, learns faster than anyone around...
All of your answers are thrown into a statistical analysis and out pops cute little bars showing where you are relative to their "perfect person." I may hate getting up in the morning to go to work, but dang it that machine will think I am up and ready to go with a smile on hours before my 7am shift start...

I have taken this before, and didn't pass it. I had to take it again for another job, and who knows the result this time. I think this test is ridiculous, because instead of answering honestly, you have to answer to what the employer wants to hear. It's not like you can explain your answers, so how in the world can they assume they know you from silly questions! They also word the same questions differently, and ask them OVER and OVER and OVER. Yes I'm responsible, yes I can handle conflict, and yes I can be a leader. If thats what they want...YEs YES YES YES! I hate this test!
