I had my meeting with an adviser yesterday and I am so excited to begin my path towards RN! It has been a dream for 10 years.
I am 28 (almost 29), getting married in September to the father of my amazing 2 year old daughter. Getting into SPC is so hard. I was working and almost made it - I was in my last semester of pre-reqs with Micro and Stats. Unfortunately my father, uncle, and grandfather passed away during the semester. Because I had withdrawn from Stats twice before, this was considered my third attempt and I was told I would not be considered for the SPC nursing program. Tough luck. (I really hate SPC.)
So I went to Galen and talked to them. Because I have most my pre-reqs done at SPC, it lowers the program cost almost $10k. I should have done this program a long, long time ago.
Anyone else starting Galen soon?

Congrats! I'm applying to start the RN program in October as well! How long did it take you to get your admission decision?

Hello everyone, I was considering this school but I work full time days and would have to find another job. It's hard finding a reasonable evening nursing program in Tampa, I'm just tired of waiting. Anyone else work full time?
