Galen - Louisville, KY

Hey guys, I'm looking into going to Galen in Louisville in September 2017 for their ban program. Does any body have any insight on this school. How do you like it?

Also im wondering if anybody has transferred to Galen from ivy tech. Did your general education courses transfer? How do you like Galen in comparison to ivy tech?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 😊

Two things about Galen. One is that they are kind of expensive. Two is that they tend to stalk you all over the internet if you just look at them.

So they do not play hard to get at all.

This worries me because as a for-profit although they have decent graduation rates (collegescorecard.ed.gov) they undoubtedly will loan you up.

So if feasable I always recommend doing the prerequisites on the cheap at a community college and then take it from there.

No sense in getting overly indebted. You have a life going forward to live without owing expensive money to some fat cat on Wall Street for decades to come.

And don't sign the "arbitration agreement" that they slip in with the other routine paperwork. That's just a big red light and a dead givaway that they have their best interests at heart not yours.
