I have applied for ADN and LPN at Gadsden State.
After reviewing older post of what it has taken to get accepted into the program I have seen where a score of 172 and 174 have been accepted. I know that this is not the benchmark of a guaranteed rate of acceptance because all is depending on the people who applies and their scores. However, I am going to put out my scores and calculations so others can follow what my score is and if I get in or not. I believe this will help others this go around and in the future. So here it goes.
TEAS = 97.05 [64.7%] (since the score is 67% of 150 questions that is 64.7 X 1.5)=97.05
A&P I = 10 (Made a C = 10 points) I took an instructor who was not a good fit for myself. Not many did well in this class.
A&P II= 30 (Made an A=30 points) Dr.D
Micro = 30 (Made an A=30 points) Took the mother. Was a very hard class but loved it and learned so much.
Points are given at the rate of 30=A 20=B 10=C each for A&P I,A&P II, and Micro.
2 points each for ENG101, MTH100, PSY200, PSY 210, SPH 106 and 1 point each for any humanities/fine arts electives.
ENG101=2
MTH112=2 (Higher math classes count the same as MTH100)
PSY200=2
PSY210=2
SPH106=2
ENG251=1
ART100=1 (Even though I have 12 additional points there is a maximum of 11 points allowed)
Total Points for my ADN for my application = 178.05 points
Now will just set back and if it is good enough. When I went for advisement I was told that around 170 was the average score but I have talked to others and have received different stories from each so you can not bank on 170 being the average.

Anyone else planning on applying to Gadsden for Fall 2016? I put in my application last week for the ADN program. I am also applying at Jeff State and CACC.
