GA Board of nursing preceptorship hours

Does any Excelsior college graduate student was able to take the required preceptorship hours in GA? Where did you have the hours? I am so desperate to get some place to let me do the hours.

I am also an Excelsior graduate looking for a preceptorship, have you had any luck? I haven't found anywhere..

A colleague of mine is talking with someone at Atrium Navicent Health (formerly known as the Medical Center of Central Georgia) in Macon. Another online EC friend of mine completed her hours there in 2019. Contact their Human Resources department for information. Good luck to you both!

Thank you for your replied. I already talked to them and at this point they are not accepting any preceptorship hours.

I’m sorry to hear this. If you’re an LPN, have you tried applying for positions in a hospital? Some teaching hospitals still employ LPNs. Once you get your foot in the door, it might be easier to communicate your preceptorship needs with the education department. Worth a try..

Were you able to find a location are you in the Atl Metro Area? Were you able to get a list of facilities from the Georgia Board of Nursing?
