I'm at Meramec now, looking to transfer to slu next January for nursing. Has anyone done this, or is at the slu nursing program now?? HOw do you like it? Im worried about getting in. Since im transferring, I don;t have first priority to get accepted.....:o

If anyone attends slu, tell me how you like it,and anything else!!!!

I'm there now (Junior, spring semester) and I love it. The teachers want you to succeed and they have a transfer scholarship, it really helps out. If you want to try out for this, make sure you get the scholarship application in on time, have a good GPA and resume. Good luck.

Sorry for the late reply, but I haven't been to the site in a while. I transferred to SLU Spring 2006 and I LOVE IT!! The instructors are wonderful and they really care about their students. I was a transfer from UMSL and had hoped to start Fall 2005 but SLU Registrar lost my transcripts (twice) and I got waitlisted. It all worked out, and I'm not bitter (much). I am however very broke. My husband's income eliminates a lot of financial aid (need based grants and scholarships) and I have to have more student loans than I would like. I did get a some grant money from SLU and it helps alot. Hang in there and hope to see you in January!!

Has anyone heard anything about the graduate programs at SLU? Specifically what about the online program for nurse practitioners? TIA

I am in SLU's FNP program. This is my first semester. Very time consuming, difficult and expensive. Since I am working so hard for it that must mean it will really be worth my time and money!?
