Future grad

hey everyone,

new to this site, seems really helpful. I was wondering if i could ask a few questions and see if anyone else here can help me out. Number 1 has anyone worked at St V's in melb, if so what did they they think of it, especially as grad yr oppurtunity. Second, does anyone know what the process is for completing paramedics once a qualified rn1? how many years postgrad experience is needed, thanks guys

haha donuts. no one replied! well ill reply. for what its worth. you probabaly have already made up your mind about st. vee's. i applied there. it was my second prefrence. i didnt get it in the end. but the interview was a group interview. i did a clinical placement there, twas really nice. i liked hte idea of the 24hr gym mainly. that was why i wanted ot go there.. and i like fitzroy alot too..

hmm... and about paramedics. maybe 2 year post grad? the course is three.. and you ussually get a year or two off if you enter as a graduate.. and you might get some exemptions in A&P and stuff.. so myabe even 1. lots of people do that.. i dont think its as essy to get a job though if you go down that path!

peace

hello! how come you're going to paramedics after RN? most of my RN peers came over to RN from paramedics coz paramedics had worse conditions and pay than RN!
