Hello all! I am a semester 1 student and we have 3 out of 4 theory tests and I did okay on the first with a B and have gotten a C on the next two! Granted I am still getting a B in the class I am so frustrated that I thought I did good and I really didn't this time! I left the test feeling good and this was the worst I have done! I study my butt off and I have medical knowledge I have been a medical assistant for the last 8 years.
Any help or guidance on what helps you study for these tests? There NCLEX style tests as well.
I take notes, review power points, do tons of NCLEX practice questions over the material and still its just not working out for me!
Any help or ideas would be great thanks!

The only thing missing is reading your book. I would try that and see if your scores improve. A "B" is pretty good, so I would say you're on the right track :)
Sorry I was assuming when typing and yes I read every chapter that is assigned. I know the overall grade is good but I need to improved my test scores I am just looking to see what tricks everyone else uses studying!
The Davis success series for fundamentals. I found that book to be extremely helpful that I bought the med-surg and psychiatric nursing editions for my current semester. Here is a link:

Hope that helps!
Thanks!
