Does anyone have the ISBN number off hand?
I have read some reviews about this text and many have suggested another text book. Now, with the EC exams, I'm wondering if it's possible to use another "basic" fundamentals text book since they basically have the same info (just presented a different way) Has anyone done this? Has anyone used another book that wasn't on the "list" to get as their main source?
Are the NC exams basically critical thinking or is it factual info based on the recommended books? Thanks.

Both. For example, if a question asks about what shows the need for further teaching re: a patient being placed on a monoamine oxidase inhibitor you'd better know what foods interact badly with that class of drug.
As to the books, the fundamentals is not a text I've used much and you can probably get away with an earlier edition.
