To practice what?

Did you look through the posts on the sticky threads of this forum? There are all kinds of helpful weblinks there.

Hi Daytonite,

Thank You soooooo much:up:.

POMDO1, I just finished my first semester Fundamental of Nursing. One suggestion I would make is to go to your library and see if they have a book called Test Question Logic for Nursing or RN's. The book focuses on how to take nursing exams, reading and comprehending the questions, and how to choose the best answer. This book really helped to explain the way nursing exams are set up and it was a big help to me when I started taking my exams in the first semester. Also, the ATI book is great. It really summarizes concepts being taught. I don't know if you will have access to this website through your school, but there's a website we used in conjunction with our text book. The site is www.mynursinglab.com and I used this A LOT to study the chapters being taught in the textbook. You can take practice exams to build your knowledge and it will also show you where you are weak so you can review again. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Just finished first semester and started 2nd semester today. The only advice I can really give you for Fundamentals is get a really good NCLEX book and review the sections that involve what you'll be learning in Fundamentals. That REALLY helped me last semester. It will help you to learn the material and it will also help you learn HOW to take tests in nursing school...because they are like nothing you've ever done. GOOD LUCK!!!
