FSW Spring 2021

Published

Hey !

Anyone applied to the FSW nursing program for Spring of 2021 ? I wanted to make a discussion board so we can help each other during the process of everything. I know this is kind of last minute and everyone probably dealing with what's going on in the world, so I am not expecting too much replies , but thought to make one just in case anyone gets stuck with anything ! But who else is excited ??

Yes. I’m Jane. Nice to meet you.

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to this. But just wanted to congratulate everyone who got accepted! I got accepted to the Collier ANEW program! I look forward to these next four semesters. Hopefully we can meet and help one another through our nursing student careers. Best of luck!

Hi!

I'm studying for the 20 question math test, can anyone give me an example of the questions?

What specific math questions will be on it?

Is it difficult?

Thanks!

It’s not bad. Basic math operations. Adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing fractions and decimals. A couple of ratio questions. I would go through 5th grade khan academy and you should be good. There’s no calculator allowed.

I heard that there will be percentage questions as well on the test. Were there any on yours?

Also, what type of writing assignment were you given?

Ya there were a couple of percent questions. Like “what is 2/3 expressed as a percentage?” Khan academy 5th grade and maybe a little of 6th will prepare you perfectly. And the writing section was a paragraph that had 10 errors we had to correct. Spelling, grammar, punctuation.

HI everyone! Congrats to getting in! I didn't apply this Spring semester but I'm planning to apply for this upcoming Fall semester, I was just wondering what a good number was for the total points for the tally point system?

TIA
