FSCJ Summer 2016

Hello everyone. I haven't seen a post for the Summer term 2016 so I figured I would post. I applied to the Spring semester but didn't get in. I am retaking the HESI at the end of Nov and resubmitting my app for Summer term and if that fails too then Fall 2016. It's frustrating but I am working towards it! I will have my AA degree in December. Who else is applying for Summer or Fall term?

I don't know what the cut off score for summer 2016, but in previous semesters I had seen something like 189 so I thought with my own being over 200 I had a shot...however, I will keep trying.

I checked my email today as well and found my acceptance that was sent on the 12th. Still waiting on the packet to see if I will be day or evening. I am hoping for evenings and weekends. Congrats to everyone else that has been accepted. I am looking forward to beginning the program with all of you!

You had over 200 points and didn't get in? @supawoman9000?

That is pretty ridiculous...and worries me. Is therr anything else they were looking for? Or is it just that maybe too many people applied and it was luck of the draw

That's rather surprising. My score was somewhere in the 190s (if I calculated correctly) and got in.

No, it's not luck of the draw, just points based.

But if its over 200 and didn't get in...then how is it just points based..doesn't make sense to me. But I did forget that summer offers fewer seats.

I suggest to continue checking your email. Ms. James just got back to me today on something I asked Friday. I'll keep my fingers crossed for those of you still waiting.
