FSCJ Summer 2011 Hopefuls

Published

Is there anyone planning to apply for FSCJ's Summer 2011 RN program? I am taking A&PI and II next semester with Human Growth and Dev. and Sociology, then I'll apply. I am taking Microbiology during the spring prior to going into the program. I am taking the Nat in September after Chem 1032. What about you?

No email! No mail! All we want is a simple yes or no is that to much to ask. Apparently yes!!

The waiting game...My boyfriend played a mean trick on me this week. I asked him if he got the mail today and he said yes and there was something from FSCJ!!!! I about peed my pants and then he hands me my credit card bill!!!! Grrr... :smackingf The waiting is the worst part!

I think the longer you have to wait, the more likely you are to be accepted. It seems like the denials go out first based on other's post. Keep your heads up. I don't know what I will do when I am in your shoes! :uhoh3:

Yeah, I read that too, it seems like before last term they were sending acceptance packets first, so someone said they prob are sending out the denial letters to those who have no chance at all of getting in and then the acceptance packets. I asked a girl I know who just finished nursing school and she told me to look for a packet not a letter, she said there was lots to fill out so I'm looking for a thick packet for acceptance. Cause I applied for this past spring and didn't get in, and it was just a single letter. And looks like they don't want to give us a long time to get all the things we need before orientation, spring peeps only had like two weeks from i read. So we may have to wait a while longer? ugh, I just hope I get in!! :nurse:

I really hope so, I've been working my butt of for the last 2 years. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who has, so I just really hope the waiting is a good sign for all of us.:clpty:

Yes, i was accepted last term and had to decline my seat due to child care issues AT LAST MINUTE! :( I'm hoping to be accepted for summer. Rejection letters went out first and we didn't get acceptance packages until the day before Thanksgiving..the 8 week cut off was oct 1...there were rumors that they were going to wait til after the holidays to mail them..dont know where these rumors came from, but we did get them the wed prior...It's a big envelope..like 8x10 and has lots of info...im as impatient as everyone else, but not really expecting much until last minute...well, i am stalking the mailman and getting that slight anxiety when the mail comes and hoping for that big envelope!

Thank you also, I guess tomorrow could be a possibility, only I don't remember reading in any past post of them getting acceptance letters on the weekend. If not there's always next week

Yeah, when I glanced at the other threads it seemed as if they usually received their acceptance letters in the middle of the week. I will still be stalking the mailbox tomorrow though :lol2:

yeah it did seem as if the previous terms got their letters during the work week. But ill still keep my hopes up anyway :D
