FSCJ NURSING Spring 2022

Published

HELLO!

Just wanted to see if anyone is applying for the Spring 2022 nursing program at fscj. Was curious as to what everyone's scores are for the application/how their HESI looked. Look forward to hearing from everyone!

Hello, I applied for Spring 2022. I am really crossing my fingers I will make it in, unfortunately I did not score as high, so just waiting, soon we will hear back!

Hi!

I applied for the Spring semester. I believe based on the past semesters ranking scores mine is competitive. There is also a facebook group with other applicants. It's not very active at the moment. But I'm sure as time passes and closer we get to receiving denial and acceptance letters people will become more active.

My fingers are crossed for all of us! I applied over a month before the deadline so the anticipation is KILLING ME. I researched a lot on here and based on previous scores, I feel like I may be competitive as well however I am still taking my last two prereqs so I don't know how they factor that in. Without those classes added in, I am sitting at 143.16. Here's to two more A's and all of us getting in!

That's an excellent score

Hey guys I'm looking to apply for Summer. Was just wondering if anyone could share their scores and whether they got accepted? I took some of the prereqs many years ago when I didn't know I'd be applying, and my understanding is that you can't retake classes to improve your score. I've taken some anyway because other nursing schools require them to be more recent. Not sure if that will matter. I haven't taken the HESI yet but trying to figure out what I need to score to be competitive. I think I can do pretty well on that, though.

I am starting the program Spring 2022. I followed the prior three terms and their accepting progress to see what the scores were. From that information I would say shoot no lower than a 137. The HESI gives you an opportunity to really boost your score. I saw most terms no lower than 132 for cutoff amd some a bit higher 135 or so. Summer terms cutoff is usually the higher score in the 130's since there are less seats available.  Use nursehub to study for HESI. Focus on your English categories ans math. Also follow the facebook groups for the terms amd you can learn a lot about the process as well.

Thank you SO much for that info! I started doing some practice questions for HESI. As long as they only count the 4 sections I should be okay. I'll have disastrous scores on other stuff LOL. Since they don't count other sections is it worth even reading the questions? I know it says you need to complete the whole test but I figure why not just fill in the answers randomly at that point ? BTW I was looking at the class schedules and noticed they still have "open" sections this coming Spring. does that seem odd? Wouldn't they want to fill them up? Thank you again so much!
