Any FSCJ NURSING SPRING 2019 hopefulls? What scores did you apply with? Theres a FB page titled "fscj nursing spring 2019" if any one wants to have a page to follow and discuss the process on!

I am applying with 141 points. What's everyone else applying with?

Any idea what cut off # of points are?

Hello Everyone.

I was accepted into the Fall 2018 ASN cohort. Just to give you guys some perspective, my points averaged 141.5 out of the 160 max points. I aced the "Big 3" (Human Anatomy I & II and Micro). My HESI scores were all above 90 except for Math which was a couple points shy. I heard a lot of hearsay regarding the competitiveness of FSCJ's RN program so I applied to Daytona Beach State College and Saint John River State College just in case. Turns out, those colleges had incoming classes with GPAs averaging 3.8 or higher and HESI (TEAS for DSC) scores well above 90 in each category.

I'm not sure what minimum criteria they are looking for but I would definitely focus on hitting those nineties on the HESI. That was definitely my saving grace. Good luck future RNs....

Hi Everyone. I'm taking the HESI Tuesday the 12th! With my scores so far, assuming I score 100% on all of the subtests that count for the HESI (shooting for it), I will have 137.66. This is excluding MICRO, AP2 and HUM in which I am taking this semester. Do you guys know of anyone being accepted without having some core classes done before the deadline?

I will be applying with 144 points!

Hi everyone! Applying with 146 points here. I did some creeping on the past term's message boards and it looks like the cutoff is usually around 135 :)

137. gonna be a nailbiter

This sounds exactly like me only I have 143 points. I am hoping I get in... This has me hopeful.

I tried to apply while I was taking Micro and the classes didn't end before the application date and they turned me down. They said they didn't allow anyone to apply anymore with pending classes.

Does anyone know if denials have been sent out yet?

I called last week and we will know by October 18.

Does anyone know if we get extra points for a B.S. degree?
