I scanned the threads and didn't see one for this class set up yet. I'm applying at the end of the semester. Anyone else?
The physical form is supposed to be done after your titers are positive or you get your immunizations and then you still have to get your titers done. The positive titers mean you DO NOT need immunizations. If you choose to do the immunizations even though you probably had most of this when you were little is wasting you money because after your immunization you have to wait awhile before you can get your titers done before they say positive. So my advice is go to the Northside Clinic which also does your drug test because they are really cheap. Then once they do the titers and they are positive go get your physical so your doctor can write your titer or immunization dates in on the form.
I don't know if you have insurance but I went to my primary this morning....had the physical done and the titers/immunizations all at the same time. They said to come back in two days to get the PPD read and then they'll call me when they get the results of the titers so that I may come pick up a copy.
I hope that everyone else realizes that it takes several days to get your titers back and since the application requires an actual copy of the titers - everyone NEEDS to get them done this week!
As for seeing my primary with insurance - because it was all done together as a "routine well visit" - I paid nothing!

I don't have insurance but I went to Northside Medical clinic yesterday and got my drug test done, my titers for MMR and Varicella, my immunization for TDAP and my PPD test foor a grand total of $148, so it really wasn't that bad. I go back tomorrow for them to read the PPD test and then I go back next week to get the titers results and the physical. They kept the physical form and wrote on it what I had done. She said when I come back next week and if the results are positive then they will complete the physical and give me my original form back. I feel a lot better today knowing that I got most of my stuff done yesterday.
That's what I was wondering too. I talked to another student and they said go in and try them on at a uniform place and then try to order it based on that...?
That's a good idea...I don't really want to wait until next Friday (Meridy's is supposed to be at FSCJ) but I don't want to take the chance of ordering the wrong sizes either. Is there ANYONE who is in N/W? I'd like to touch base...

I am in N/W. From what I read in the paperwork we have to purchase everything before December 6th. That's what Meridy's said when I called too, but then if they are going to be at orientation to take our orders, that's after the 6th so....??? Yeah confusing. lol
