Frustrated!! Anyone heard Anything from or about Youngstown Ohio Crna program?

 Has anyone out there applied to St. Elizabeth's Crna program in Youngstown Ohio? I applied to four different schools and was granted an interview to 3 of the 4 and have had the most frustrating time with Youngstown. It has been like pulling teeth to get any information out of them and they are SO far behind all the other schools in their interview process, yet they start at the end of August. Anytime I have asked them anything through out this whole application/interview process they have always been nice, but Very evasive. At the interview they told me, "Well, if you don't hear from us, that means we are still considering you!" (WHAAAT??) and then they told me that if it gets to be too long and I haven't heard from them to go ahead and call them. Seeing as how I interviewed in March, I have recently called them. They just say, "Oh, we are still interviewing and have filled some of the positions!" :uhoh3: If any of you have heard from them at all (whether it was an acceptance or a rejection) I would love to know about it!! Seeing as how their school starts in a little over three months, I would LOVE to know where I stand!! I am assuming I am not getting in there, BUT, if I am, I need some time to move the family and make other adjustments!!!

Thanks!

Let the way that they are handling this situation with you be a little insight on the program. IF you are not satisfied with the way they are treating you now, things may not be any better when school starts. I'd maybe consider some of the other schools that you got into. Just a thought to ponder!

Hi there !! If I were you I would not waste my time... That program is NOT FRIENDLY at all. They will make your life a living :angryfire H*** and they still have the menu plan of "eating the young". I'd look into Akron. I have heard nothing but WONDERFUL things about that program. Good Luck !!

Dismissing a program outright for being slow in communication, it's a bit of a knee-jerk reaction. This time of the year it's graduation time for BS and MSN.

Ask "Vinnysca" about the program - he's a student there.

If I were in your shoes, I'd assume that I'm not their first choice - they're waiting to see if the ones offered a spot accept or not. If there are spots left, you'll be offered one, sometime...

If you need a faster answer, focus on the other schools.

Good luck

Thanks for the info, businessman! I will definitly contact vinnysca for more information on their program.

Just wanted to share the good news with everyone!! I just got my acceptance letter from Youngstown today!! Thanks everyone for all of your replies!
