Frontier Nursing University PMHNP Fall 2019

Has anyone here applied to FNU PMHNP for this fall 2019?

Hi, I just applied. I heard the program is very competitive. Just hoping...

Hi! I'm getting ready to send in my application.. last minute. I was planning on applying for the winter class but due to timing issues am trying to get in my app for the fall class. I'm super nervous! I hear they have a 50/50 acceptance rate. It's the first grad school I've applied for so I'm really worried about how well put together all my information is!

I applied as well...super nervous! Good luck!!

Hi, I applied to the program. Waiting to hear back. I’m nervous and I feel impatient to find out. I’m being optimistic. Where is everyone from?

Hi all! I've been waitlisted for FNP class #188 ? trying not to get too discouraged but I felt like I had a strong application packet! Boo

I'm sorry you were wait-listed. It really doesn't speak to your accomplishments or ability to succeed in NP school. They get applications from more talented and qualified people than they can accept. If you are wait-listed it means you have everything they are looking for in a student. They want you and they are hoping to enroll you if they have room this term, otherwise they invite you to apply next term. Good luck, I hope you make it in this term.

I am preparing to apply for Winter 2020 cohort. Nervous as well. I live in Brooklyn par, MN. Looking for a partner to get started with. Any one??

Can anyone who is doing the post masters pmhnp program provide an update on here of how the coursework and clinicals are? Is it doable to work full or even part time during the program? How receptor are faculty in getting back in touch?

Also, for those who have finished to program, did the school prepare you to pass boards?

Specializes in TNICU nurse.

Over a year later here! I am applying to the Spring cohort. Were you able to get in? and if so have you had any luck finding a preceptor? :)

Anyone from this thread get into the PMHNP program? If so, how do you like it? Do you feel supported by the professors? I got accepted into Wilkes to begin Fall 2021 and am having second thoughts as they do NOT guarantee clinical placement even though they had guaranteed, many students complain about professors not being clear in terms of assignments, returning emails, etc.
