Frontier Nursing University FNP Class 139

Published

Hi, Is there anyone out there who has applied to the FNP program for Frontier Bound in June? Looking for potential classmates and support while waiting to see if we're accepted. Good luck everyone!

Lol, a dislike button would be nice. For those who were accepted, Congratulations! Good Luck with the program.

Me either and the deadline for the other school is closed until 2016, bad move on my part to only apply at one school.. I hate asking for more references and going through all this again

Oh Catrpearl, sorry to hear. It is so disappointing! Definitely dislike button pushed!!

I agree, the process of applying I time consuming. Not sure what I want to do now. FNU was my only choice also.

Catrpearl I am sorry! !!!#####!!!!!

Specializes in Pediatrics.

I don't even understand how I didn't even get wait listed or deferred to another class!!! My gpa was well over a 3.0, my references came from two DNPs and a Vice President of outpatient medical services, highly respected individuals, I was on the deans list in college for my BSN. I'm so mad!

I was wait listed for FNP also. I wonder what the difference is between denied, moved to another class and wait listed.... guess the wait continues. Could be worse....

I feel the same way. I made very good grades, have 2 under graduate degrees, etc. Don't understand.

What about Walden university? They have an FNpractitioner. It is all on line and the application is free!!! They will even obtain your transcripts. .. I was looking into Walden if I don't get into the 140 class. They order your books and everything. I know someone going for IT and she loves it.

I'm going to sleep on it, but I've heard good things about Walden. Thanks, I hope you get into class of 140.

I didn't apply anywhere else and I just moved to another state in January so recommendations all over again would be hard.

Well, I'm going to bed early....Tomorrow is another day. I appreciate all of you, it's made the waiting and the bad news much better to handle. Talk to you guys tomorrow.
