I was just wondering if anyone has applied to class 122? I would love to hear from you as we anxiously wait to hear if we got in!

Hi there, I appiled to CNEP class 122 as well. I haven't heard anything back yet. I'm not sure when I should expect to hear though, any idea?

Class 121 CNEP heard in 6.4 weeks. ; )

I applied... Anxious for a response as well. If it is 6.4 weeks, it'll be a long wait. Good luck to everyone.

I was thinking that we'd hear by the end of December or early January at the latest. I'm really excited to get started though. I just got back from the MANA conference and it was really inspiring to be there with so many incredible midwives. I would love to hear about your backgrounds. Just a little about me; I'm a nurse in Alaska and have only been one for almost a year and a half. I work on a surgical floor because there were no L and D jobs for new grads when I was looking. Midwifery is my passion though, so I figured why wait.

My name is Adrian. I'm a L&D nurse on Guam, and have been one for almost a year now . I love women's health/OB, and I'm excited to start this new chapter with passionate people who are also interested in becoming midwives. Not too many guys wanting to be a midwife and not a lot of male L&D nurses, even in my workplace (I'm one of two). I was almost going to be placed on a hemo unit, and was very lucky to get L&D.

Same situation. Work in AK, no L&D experience, decided not to wait and just head on to school. Good luck and I hope you make it. I was recently accepted into class 121 so I'm not too far ahead of the game from you. Good luck!

I'm kind of in the same boat. I've always known my passion was maternity but have been unable to get into the field since I graduated. I've been working in tele med/surg now for over 3 years. I live on Cape Cod and there's not a lot of job opportunities here so I will probably move closer to Boston at some point. I'm very excited about the program but I'm also very nervous! I work full-time so I applied for the part-time track but would like to go full-time, I just don't want to overwhelm myself. Is anyone else nervous?

Hang in there guys. I'm sure a spot week open up for you in MCH. Good to read you're all chasing your passions!

I'm so excited to hear of so many people in the same boat as I am! I be I've been a med surg tele nurse for close to a year and a half, and just ready to follow my dream! I was nervous about being the only one without extensive L & D experience yet. Good luck everyone!

I got my acceptance letter last week! Has anybody else heard? Working on getting my flight and figuring out transfer from Lexington to Hyden.

Congratulations on your acceptance! I also got my acceptance via email on Monday. I'm planning on looking into flights tonight. I"m looking forward to meeting you and our class in February!
