Frontier Nursing University-Class 141

Hello, just wanted to start a thread for people waiting to hear acceptance to class 141 ADN bridge program!!! It's still early, but I figure never to early to wait together :) Anyone else out there?

LOL!!! I am too! I'm hoping for good news soon. 😊 Do most people that apply for the bridge classes get in?

I'm not sure. I've heard it's all about GPA from several people, but I've also heard that most people that apply get in. There's no way to tell I guess.

When I called (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME ) on June 17th, she said they were finishing up with the class before us and they hoped to make decisions about class 141 in about 2 weeks or so. She mentioned that one person looked at my stuff and they still needed to score me. When I asked what all this was about here is pretty much what she said....2 people individually look at your application, resume, letter of recommendations, and essays. They each give you a score (she couldn't tell me a score out of what possible number) then the scores are added together. The top 40 students are accepted and ANYONE with a score above 110 is put on the waiting list. I have two sets of twins ages 5 and 9, my husband is a surgical spine PA, and two of my children have developmental delays and medical issues. Making plans sure would be nice ahead of time but I guess that this experience is only going to teach me what flexibility on the job is all about! I'm so nervous and anxious. All my eggs are in one basket. I, like so many of you, have bitten all my finger nails off and nervously awaiting over here......

So....another 7-10 days for 141? My guess July 2nd. Any other takers?

I just got an email saying they needed a personal goals essay to complete my application... I'm lost, I sent three references, a resume, and two essays, all that the website said was required, I even called and double checked to make sure they had everything and was told it was all there...

I would call tomorrow. It may be a mistake. I've gotten 1 email by mistake and didn't receive another I should have gotten.

I emailed them and apparently one of my essays didn't attach properly to the original email :banghead:. I wish I had known about this before! But hopefully all is well now. :up:

Phew, what a relief. Hope we all know soon! I'm on edge over here....checking my email and facebook (Frontier Nursing university hopefuls) left and right!!!

Me too. I have never checked my email so much in my life. Good thing fate broke the air in my house and it will be several days before it is fixed. I now have something I'm now looking forward to more than the acceptance letter, an air part! Provided I do not die of heat stroke before that life changing email comes.

Oh no!! That must be rough...no air and a hot summer in central Fl!! Hope you and the family are staying cool!! So today marks the 8 week until FB mark!! Wonder when we will hear something. I'm hoping some time this week. I'm up at 5am and not sleeping well. I know this worrying is making me crazy! I'm a bundle of emotions...nervous, excited, scared, and anxious. Well I'd better start my day and find ways to keep myself busy so the time passes faster because I doubt today will be the day! Have a great one all!
