frontier nursing university class 131

just curious who all out there is applying to 131. (November 10 frontier bound) i have seen previous class applicants connect through allnurses so i thought I would see who else out there is applying for this class

Me too! I've read so many different things and I really just have no idea what my chances are.

I think my GPA is ok but I have limited experience. I graduated with my BSN in May 2013 and have been working as a birth assistant/RN at home births. The CNM'sI work with are long time preceptors for frontier so I guess that is good, but I'm still a disaster wondering if that is good enough.

Ive never been so nervous about school!

I think you will good. A hospital setting for clinical hours is a good exposure.

I couldn't resist and I called. They are still saying a couple of weeks:( That's the second week in September at the earliest. I guess I can stop checking my email all the time…

is that just for the cnm program or the fnp too??

Not sure. I asked for cnm. I would be be surprised if fnp heard before cnm.

I am waiting also!!! I am so nervous. I have applied to 3 schools so hopefully I will know which one accepts me soon. November frontier bound is just around the corner. I need time to make arrangements!

I only applied to frontier so Im a mess!! I just feel like its the school for me and I hope they feel the same about me:) My kids start school next week so I know I will be busy. Hoping that helps the days go by quickly!

Yes, I know the feeling. I am in school mode right now so I need to know! Like I said, I need to make some arrangements! Surely they will email us in September.
