Hello! Wondering if anyone here is applying to/currently attending FRCC Larimer? I would love some insight on your personal experience being in the program and how competitive the application process is. I'm really nervous about applying. I am also thinking of other schools as options, but I'm not sure where else to apply. I know Arapahoe and FRCC Westminster applications are opening up later this year. Location isn't really an issue for me, I just want to get into a program that will guide me into becoming a great nurse!

For reference, I only have a 3.3 GPA, a composite score of 90% on my HESI (Bio 92, Chem 84, Reading Comp 92, Math 94), and I am not a resident of the county. Do I even stand a chance? Lol. ?

Hope to hear back from someone soon!

Hi there! I ended up applying for the RN program in Westminster and am still waiting to hear back. I was just curious if you have heard anything or ended up applying! :)

I did hear back. I missed the cutoff mark by two points because, they wouldn’t tell me the exact number though. Residency points seems to matter a lot. It’s ok though! Just keep applying ?

Do you guys mind sharing you GPA and HESI scores... im trying to apply to the bridge program but if ppl are getting turned away with high gpas and great HESI scores i definetly have some things to reconsider...

I'm currently in the FRCC Larimer County program. It's very competitive but definitely keep applying, especially if you can re-take a couple classes to raise your GPA. I'll be honest, most people in my cohort had a 4.0 or something very close along with a good HESI score (high 80s is probably the lowest you would want). Let me know if you have any other questions, good luck :)
